Our story
Our story started in 2014, in the heart of Dracula`s land: Transilvania.
Based in the Reghin city, known by Luthiers and Musicians as "The City of Violins", our Company is closed to the one of the most important flamed maple and spruce forests area from Romania, across the amazing Carpathian, home to one of the largest virgin forests in Europe.
In love with music and instruments, 10 years ago when we started to work in the Musical instruments field by selecting the best logs of maple and spruce, processing them, and storing in our deposit to dry before using or selling them.
Starting from a small family business, we delivered every year more and more tone woods, components and musical instruments. Today, our clients and partners are from more than 50 countries and 4 continents: Europe, America, Asia, and Australia.
After couples of years of learning so many things from our Luthiers Customers, as spending time with them, we started a small workshop for building hand-made instruments, in partnership with local Luthiers.
For almost 10 years we operate our business under Golden Tonewood (tone-wood supplier) we we supplied the luthiers around the world with materials for building musical instruments.
In 2024 we decided to rebrand our Business from Golden Tonewood to Luthier Boutique as we expanded our range of products from tonewoods to components, DIY kits and white instruments
This is such a great opportunity to work with people all around the world, starting from luthiers, musicians and international shops.
